Penn will serve as the LGBTQ+ programer and will oversee a new focus for EDU: a screening dedicated to LGBTQ+ voices.

Pauletich is a director/writer/producer/editor living in the suburbs of St. Paul. and started his career path by obtaining a BFA in Digital Film and Media Production at the Institute of Production and Recording. He currently works full time as an assistant editor in the Twin Cities and is in development on a web series that he will write, produce, and direct.

EDU Entrants can indicate on the their entry form if the creative leadership of the program qualifies for entry in the LGBTQ+ screening.

The LGBTQ+ Voices screening joins EDU’s Minnesota Women in Film & TV’s Award for Emerging Filmmaker and the Twin Cities Black Film Fest Emerging Filmmaker of Color award in EDU’s continued efforts to encourage and reward a diverse group of youth filmmakers and artists and to help ensure that the next generation of filmmakers is rich with diverse perspectives.
